Orsis provides encrypted and validated energy consumption data for Suppliers and Data Collector/Aggregators to enable the industry’s settlement process and timely and accurate primary billing.
Our system also provides data to populate aM&T, Facilities Management and Energy Management systems. Data may also be used by organisations to meet their Carbon Reduction Obligations and to facilitate Energy Performance and Display Energy Certification.
Orsis Smart Meter solutions utilise a combination of industry standard, OFGEM approved meters, GPRS and low power radio technology (RF). Where required, ATEX Zone Zero approved Data Logging devices are incorporated within a resilient RF network. These enable us to provide a multi-utility portfolio of products and services that deliver timely and accurate, validated consumption data.
We are able to deliver standard half hourly data on a day + 1 basis for up to date energy consumption monitoring, plus other nonstandard time interval data transmissions depending upon the customer’s requirements. Where an Ethernet connection is available, “real time” data can also be made available.
